Rara National Park surrounds Rara Lake, Nepal’s largest lake 10.2km² known as the Pearl of Nepal.Cross over Ghurchi Lagna Pass at 3450m while heading towards Rara Lake and trek through a few ridges of 3000m elevation. This trek is fairly high and free from monsoon thunderstorms; the summer season is actually the best time to visit. The trek is accessible by flying to Jumla via Kathmandu to Nepalgunj.
